Close by is Port Allen, Kauai's west side port, where you can sign up for a sunset cruise or an ocean-bound tour of the Na Pali Coast, both memorable and exciting side trips. Whether you want to picnic or hike, or just ponder Kauai's natural beauty, drive to the top of Kauai, accessible from the towns of Waimea and Kekaha. Driving up to Kokee State Park will take you past what Mark Twain called "The Grand Canyon of the Pacific".
Tradewinds Cottage offers a full kitchen, and a washer and dryer to make your stay more pleasant. The gracious interior invites conversation over dinner or drinks with friends and family with an open floor layout between the living room, dining room and kitchen. Louvered windows let the trade winds blow through the house, a constant reminder you're in Hawaii.
You can keep up, if you desire, with what's going on in the rest of the world with cable TV and free Wi-Fi internet. If you're in Kauai to work, there is plenty of space to spread out, a phone, a good internet connection, and services nearby.
You will enjoy your stay at Tradewinds Cottage whether you have a week, a month, or longer to spend on Kauai. Many of our guests are repeat visitors and will attest to how pleasant their stay was. You, like them, will reflect on the ocean side sunsets over the island of Ni'ihau, the timeless surfers riding the timeless waves, and discovering your personal favorite spots around the island.
