I could hardly take my eyes off that remarkable shell lamp in the bedroom, and I covet your washer and dryer, Seriously! Thanks again for your hospitality. The house was a delight, and its location allowed us to scoot up to the trails early enough to beat the mists.

Thank you so much for providing such a lovely, well-appointed home. We had everything we needed and really couldn't have asked for a better home to relax in and enjoy Kauai. The decor, furnishings, bed linens, artwork, kitchenware, ocean accessories, etc., were so appreciated and useful. I came back home and told my husband, all of our kitchenware is basically 'crap' and we need to upgrade! You spoiled me! We truly had a wonderful time and our 8-year-old daughter never wanted to leave. She fell head over heels in love with your backyard and we videotaped her saying goodbye (tears and all) to the back of the house. It was so pitifully sweet and quite heartbreaking. She keeps asking us why we choose to live in Kentucky when we could live in Kauai. Funny, if it weren't for career and family, I'd wonder the same thing. Thank you again for the beautiful home and all that came with it. You have a very special place in Kauai and we hope to visit again soon.

We loved your house and I wanted to thank you for the items you provided to make our lives easier. Soap, trash bags, sponges, coffee and filters, a great complement of kitchen appliances, hydrogen peroxide and q-tips and cotton balls (which came in handy when my husband sliced his heel), all of the beach items and even laundry soap. The list could go on but it was the best equipped house we have ever stayed in and that attention to detail just made it that much more enjoyable. Thank You for making it available. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home with us! We absolutely LOVED the house and the location on Kauai. The "west shore" was so peaceful and relaxing. We loved the proximity to the beach and the wonderful "dry side" of the island. Since there are no hotels in the area, renting a house like yours was the perfect way to experience true Hawaii. We were able to meet locals and interact with the true aloha spirit! The house itself was wonderful and every attention to detail was thought of. We cooked quite a bit in the house so the fully stocked kitchen was a wonderful feature. We especially enjoyed the back porch! Seeing the wonderful landscaping, the fruit trees and the birds every morning when we ate breakfast was truly amazing! Thanks again for being a pleasure to work with. I wanted you to know that we really enjoyed our stay at your house in Kekaha. It was very comfortable and well appointed. We were very happy to have high ceilings since we are used to them in our Colorado home and always feel confined in rooms of regular height. We loved the lanai and the yard. The limes were the best we ever squeezed. The internet worked all the time! All in all it was a wonderful waking up each morning and returning each afternoon or evening. They love nature, so your house was perfect for them. Every morning, they enjoyed watching birds from the back lanaI. Every evening, they walked to the beach to see a beautiful sunset. Our blissful vacation in the islands was as I predicted - over too quickly. Thought you might like to know how much we enjoyed our stay at Hale Anuenue! Everything was as mentioned in your VRBO ad and much more. The location though, was paramount to our experience in the island. We never felt like tourists in Waimea and Kekaha and always looked forward to returning after a day of sightseeing. We especially enjoyed shopping at Ishihara's and dining at the Shrimp Station -- I felt like a kid again at JoJo's Shaved Ice. We also appreciated the beach chairs and cooler and took them along to Hanalei and Poipu. Many compliments on all the tasteful and gorgeous artwork in your home - WOW. I could have easily moved right in and not changed a thing! The house itself was spotlessly clean and I never felt like I had to rewash the dishes the way I do at other vacation homes. Mahalo plenty! We look forward to booking with you again soon. PS: We are missing the roosters and chickens already!

* All I can say is that It was heavenly. Your home is ideal. Plenty of space, beautifully decorated, and extremely comfortable. All the amenities were exceptional. An unexpected thrill was the night sky right at your beach. We've never seen so many constellations. My daughter saw three shooting stars--a tear provoking experience to say the least.

* In the thirty years we have been visiting Kaua'i we had developed a preference for the North side until now. Visiting Hale Anuenue opened our eyes to the advantages the West side has to offer.
